I love how the linux desktop evolved… in 3D!

Well… heres my (very) short tutorial on how make beryl 0.2.0 live in your FC6 desktop.

Download all the packages below from the fedora 6 extras repository into you preferred folder:
- bdock-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
- beryl-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
- beryl-core-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
- beryl-core-devel-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
- beryl-dbus-0.1.4-2.fc6.i386.rpm
- beryl-gnome-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
- beryl-kde-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
- beryl-manager-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
- beryl-plugins-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
- beryl-plugins-unsupported-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
- beryl-settings-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
- beryl-settings-simple-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
- emerald-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
- emerald-devel-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
- emerald-themes-0.2.0-1.fc6.noarch.rpm
- heliodor-0.2.0-1.fc6.i386.rpm
Do this command on the console in the directory where the packages has been downloaded:

rpm -Uvh *.rpm
Login to your desktop
Select beryl manager from the administration menu
Jreng! beryl is live on your desktop… nice isn’t it?!

admin Desktop... visually pleasing... :)

gue dah instal semuanya & gue jalankan tp knp g tampil y berylnya? setelah gue baca di forum2 yg bahas beryl, ternyata harus install driver vga yg trbaru dulu, tp stlh gue install malah disuruh instal kernel interface........
SAYA KURANG PAHAM DG ITU TOLONG BANTUANNYA DONK, gue iri ama elu, emang beryl tuh.....bikin tergiur.
TOLONG YA PLEASE, UNTUK BANTUANNYA KIRIM AJA KE EMAIL GUE
